This product is fantastic. Excellent clarity and very long range. Pricey, but well worth it for the quality. Superior to all previously used VOIP headsets in our office.
CS50-USB For Avaya Soft Phone December 8, 2007

I work at home quite a bit, and I have an Avaya Soft Phone that I use to talk to clients when I am working from home or on the road. Originally, I was using the bluetooth on my laptop to connect a Jawbone headset, but the audio quality was not very good and the battery would die on the jawbone every 4 hours because you have to actually hangup the headset after you take a call each time. If you forget to hangup the headset, your battery drains very quickly.
So I decided to try the CS50-USB. I have to tell you, I am extremely happy with this unit. Audio quality is great, people tell me I sound like I am talking through a normal phone handset, the battery life lasts all day, and it works flawlessly with the Avaya Soft Phone (automatically hangs up the headset to preserve battery life).
So...if you want a quality headset for your soft phone, this is definitely the one to buy.

I purchased the CS50-USB Wireless Headset specifically for use with Dragon Dictate speech recognition software. It was given a 4/5 star for wireless headset accuracy.
I've been very pleased with its performance and also the quality in which the hardware of the product and also the software given by Plantronics. Accuracy provided is almost as good as or even better than a wired headset. Installation was easy, and the software links directly into the sound system of the laptop PC I have. Range of the bluetooth is also good, I can still dictate 10-15 ft away from the computer.
One thing kept if from giving me a 5 star rating: the headset battery goes almost to 0 if not continuously charged (for instance after 2 days in my bag. This unfortunately is important for me.
Overall, an excellent wireless headset, worth the price and also the delivery was on time.

I haven't quite figured out all the features and how to work them, but for the basic function, it works great. I have Vista Ultimate. I did have an issue initially, but tech support helped me.

worked great with only audio setup; using with Dragon Naturally speaking preferred 9.0; replaced a wired plantronics dsp headset--great to be untethered!
