Amazon.com Product Description For the ultimate in wireless freedom, look no further than the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset, which represents a generational leap in Bluetooth headset technology. It's comfortable and light enough for all day wear, and it offers unprecedented clarity and sound quality. These are great features, but the real revolution involves Plantronics' exclusive Multipoint technology, which allows the headset to function as a powerful communication solution for up to two Bluetooth devices. With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The headset's "smart" technology knows which device you are using and allows you to take calls from any device at the touch of a button. With the optional Plantronics Bluetooth Deskphone Adapter you can even switch between your office phone and your Bluetooth mobile phone. You'll never need to use a dedicated "landline" phone headset again. The 510 features WindSmart technology, which enhances call clarity in windy environments (i.e., car with window/roof open, air conditioning on, outside with breeze), and it folds for easy storage. The boom also swivels for perfect positioning on either ear. One-touch call control buttons are placed for easy access, and you can easily redial the last number dialed and initiate voice-activated calls from the headset. Because the 510 is Bluetooth-enabled (it supports the Bluetooth 1.2 specification) you can roam up to 33 feet from your Bluetooth device. Meanwhile, the 510 supports adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) which helps avoid interference from Wi-Fi networks. Ample talk time is provided by the built-in rechargeable battery; you'll get up to 6 hours talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time. Specifications - Talk time: Up to 6 hours
- Standby time: Up to 100 hours
- Bluetooth version: 1.2 (supports headset and handsfree profiles)
- Wearing style: Over-the-ear; boom swivels for wearing on either ear
- Headset controls: Volume, mute, call answer/end, voice-activated dialing (must be supported by your phone)
- Adaptive Frequency Hopping: Yes (helps to avoid interference for co-existence with Wi-Fi/WLAN)
- Supports analog and digital office phones: Yes

Great Bluetooth January 1, 2009 J. Hayes (MS) Great Bluetooth headset. This is my second one - the first was stolen so I purchased one just like it.
Good Stuff December 31, 2008 Timothy S. Ward Jr. (Mildenhall, England) Best one I've ever owned. Some folks are put off by the seemingly bulky bit that goes around the ear but I like it. Most of the flimsy Motorola's that I've owned wont stay on my ear or won't stay close to my ear. The sound and voice are great which I've never experienced with the more expensive Motorola models.
It does work but... December 31, 2008 Sara M (Houston, Texas) The Plantronics Voyager was my first experience with a Bluetooth Headset. I bought it to go with my LG Dare phone. The headset has very good sound quality. I haven't had anyone ask if I'm on a headset or on speakerphone and I'm able to hear very well also. But that seems to be the only positive with this device... First off, the part that goes behind your ear is VERY large and really pretty uncomfortable. As another reviewer said, it is very difficult to get it positioned on the ear. The buttons are very small and are hard to find and push with the device in place on the ear. The battery life isnb't good either. It loses it's charge very quickly. I've also had trouble with it not staying connected to my phone. It will drop calls in the middle of a conversation leaving me talking to myself until I realize that it has transfered the audio back to my phone. I'm not completely sure if this is an issue with the headset or with my phone but it's annoying either way. I wouldn't reccomend this headset, even though it works okay, for the fact that it is so uncomfortable to wear which really defeats the purpose of a headset.
Best Bluetooth headset December 31, 2008 David B. Andrews (Minneapolis, Minnesota USA) I have had mine for two years. It still works for days and days between chargers. It still filters noise outside. And, it still works perfectly! It hangs perfectly off of my ear. You will need to be ok with wearing a device over your ear, and with the larger battery behind the ear. The battery lasts for weeks, the sound quality is great, and the connection to device is pretty fast. For the age of the technology, this thing is outstanding.
I like i t. December 31, 2008 Joshua James (usa) I have had 3 different bluetooth headsets. This one is the best. It looks bulky. But it fits nice. I have had a little interference, but not too bad. Yes the on and off button is hard to find when its on your head. But who cares? I turn it on when its off my ear. All and all I like it.
