Pairing will create a unique and encrypted wireless link between two Bluetooth enabled devices, such as your Bluetooth phone and Bluetooth headset. - Ensure that the headset is off (see Turning the headset on/off).
- Press and hold the Multi-Function button until the indicator light turns on in blue (approximately 8 seconds).
- Set your Bluetooth phone to discover the headset by following your phonea€™s guide. Typically, the steps involve going to a Setup, Connect, or Bluetooth menu on your phone and then selecting the option to discover Bluetooth devices.
- Your phone will find the Samsung WEP200 headset and ask if you want to pair with it. Confirm this by pressing the Yes or OK key.
- Enter a passkey or PIN, 0000 (4 zeros), then press the Yes or OK key.

...it probably is. I would be well served to remember that before buying stuff next time. This thing was just so tiny I had to have it. And for the first 2 weeks it worked ok. Not great, just OK. Then the talk time began slipping... then the static began... then people started telling me they couldn't understand me. Then it stopped working completely. Less than 3 weeks old and already headed to the trash. What a waste.
I've made up my mind: with bluetooth headphones, you get what you pay for. I'm going for a Jawbone 2, spending the extra cash on it, and I have no doubt in my mind it will be everything the reviews say it is. Enough Samsung garbage. Should have known. There are no other Samsung products in my home, and nor will there ever be.

The package I received did not contain all the parts listed. Samsung wouldn't help as the product was sold directly by Amazon. It was not a big enough issue to return the product but it is inconvenient and annoying that there is no way to resolve this kind of situation other than returning the whole package.

Works great and sound is very clear. However, the plastic ear hook breaks easily when taking it on and off. I would just leave it on but you have to take it off in order to charge it. Annoying.

After all the great reviews i guess i at least expected it to work, even if poorly. i receive calls just fine, but when i make calls, no one can hear me most of the time. It also fits me very bad. How did this thing get made in the first place with the fit this poor? Guess my ear is odd size or something, but this doesnt even come close to fitting well, feels like it will fall off any time and it loses postion(angles away from face) over time. ear hook is flimsy yet thick. i have a no name cheapo unit that cost $10 and blows this away. When this one does work, it is ok at best, bad echo alot of the time. And i HATE the blue flashing indicator light that cant be turned off. Im very disappointed in this unit. I consider this purchase to be a total waste of money. Will not buy Samsung again.
Great piece. picks up background noise, and hard to keep in ear w/o hook. January 2, 2009

This is overall a Great piece.
Cons: picks up background noise, people get annoyed when i am doing things while talking (ie. wrapping a gift, cleaning my room).
It is hard to keep in ear w/o hook. I eventually lost my hook, so the earpiece will fall out of my ear (I have big ears).
