Headsets with QuickPair are automatically in pairing mode when powered on until paired with the first device. - Step 1: Start with headset powered OFF. Hold down headset Call Control button for four seconds--release when Indicator Light flashes red and blue. Headset is now discoverable. Headset will remain discoverable until it is paired with its first device.
- Step 2: Use your device's menu to enter its pairing mode and select 220Plantronics on the display. 0000 is the pairing passkey.
- Subsequent Pairings: To manually place headset in Pairing Mode, begin with the headset turned off, then press the call control button for 8-10 seconds until the headset indicator light flashes red and blue. The headset is now in pairing mode for the next 60 seconds. To pair with a phone, repeat Step 2.
- Reconnection for Previously Paired Devices: If the Bluetooth phone and your Plantronics Bluetooth headset have been out of range for an extended amount of time or if the headset and/or phone were turned off and do not automatically reconnect, simply do a short press of the call control button and the devices will reconnect.

I've had the Plantronics 520 bluetooth for about 4 months now, and loved every moment of it. The sound quality is great for the most part, and the battery life is also excellent (mine has gone at least 3 days without charging). Whats cool about this is that you can pair this bluetooth with up to two cellphones, and they both won't interfere with each other.
Only a few problems. The ear hook is kind of big, and if you have small ears, you're going to have to readjust the earpiece a few times. I'm finally able to get it to get on my ear perfectly without it falling off. Also be aware that this does not come with a wall charger (it comes with a car charger and a USB charger). It's somewhat convenient with the USB is you're near a computer most of the time, but just be aware of that. It also comes with a tie lanyard to clip on your tie or shirt collar.
Also sometimes the volume buttons are hard to control if you're not careful, because it's on the same button as the call answer/end button.
Other than that, I've rarely had problems with this one for serving it's purpose. Definitely worth trying. Peace.

As my first bluetooth headphone, this one pleased me because of the ease of use and the excellent sound. My only complaint is the rubber ear holder came off within 2 months of using it. (My husband's came off too.) If you don't mind eventually using a little crazy-glue, this one's a winner. I lost my previous one. I decided to go cheaper, and now I'm back. Plus, this price is half what I paid for mine in Feb. of 08.

What all the other reviews say is true about the quality of this unit being great. This is a winner on the technical side. Sounds great on both ends of the conversation. The ability to pair to two phones at the same time was a deciding factor for me to purchase.
Unfortunately, once I started to wear this it became very apparent that it was not for me. This headset was so uncomfortable in my ear that I could only wear it for an hour or so before I had to take it off. I tried for two days thinking that I would get used to it, but no. And I usually don't have "fit" problems.
If it was more comfortable, I'd be keeping it. As it is, back it goes!

I purchased this item as a christmas gift for my husband. He hated his previous bluetooth set despite all the rave reviews for it (Plantronics Voyager 510). As soon as he tried this one for the first time he couldn't stop. He says it is really comfortable and clear. Many of his friends didn't even know he was talking on a bluetooth when on the phone.

I finally gave in to purchasing a blue tooth (hands free law in California), and after much research (and a recommendation), I found this one to be the best price with the best reviews on Amazon. It works just fine with my LG Envy2 phone. Comfy and easy to wear. I can hear just fine and no problems with syncing. Easy to figure out by a not-so-technical person. Oh, and the battery life is pretty decent as well. Recommended! :)
