Feature Rich But Patience a Must November 4, 2008 M. Acevedo (NYC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This phone is feature rich but there is a learning curve to it. However, with a little patience you will up with a very cool phone. I found the phone heavier than what I'm accustomed to however it's narrower than the iphone so easier to manipulate. It comes with two batteries, a pc data cable, a wall charger that doubles as an external battery charger, a car charger, a headset and a leather case! The pc data cable hooks into the wall charger through usb, so you can charge the phone through the pc or wall plug. I popped my memory card into the phone and my entire phonebook came up, glitch free! The phone's stylus is imbedded in the back, under the battery cover! You can use your fingers for touch dialing but for scrolling through the phonebook i found i needed the stylus if i wanted to access my contacts quickly. The startup and shut down screens are great as are the included special effects, like the fade in fade out feature. I love the digital clock and the dual sim feature. It makes staying in touch while abroad a snap! The phone also has fantastic volume, so loud that i had to pump it down but even at the lowest setting it still rings very loudly. It has dedicated slots for your own ringtones. I hooked it up to my pc and was able to easily transfer my favorite songs which i then assigned as ringtones. The included support website (www.freewebs.com/quickguide) provides configuration instructions for the different cell service providers. I used the t-mobile settings but was unable to access t-zones. I called t-mobile tech support and adjusted the setting to: wap.voicestream.com I was then able to log into t-zones. I was, however, unable to download anything because third party devices are not supported. I then had to subscribe to the $5.99 a month t-zone service in order to access wap downloads, including AIM. I have not found an easy way to bring up last numbers dialed nor an option to jump through the phonebook without scrolling down past every name, however that is not to say it doesn't exist. I did find the seller helpful. They responded quickly to my prior e-mails. All in all, on a scale of 1-10, I give this phone a coolness factor of 7 and an overall score of 8. In a nut shell - I love this phone. I tried giving it a 4 star rating but for some bizarre reason the amazon website would not let me select the 4th star. Definitely a Four Star Phone!

Horrible October 30, 2008 Elizabeth S. Perry (Atascadero Ca) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is not what I was looking for. Touch screen is very hard to manipulate unless you are sitting down with nothing else to do. I am very busy and needed a phone that I could use on the run, this is not the phone. Cheaply made, earpiece broke the minute I installed it. Not a good deal unless you are buying it for a jr high kid. It is not a bad phone, just not an easily manuevered phone, for those on a busy schedule and looking for something that can simplify life.
