This is the only cordless phone with blue tooth ability onthe market...or at least when I bought it. I do a lot of comptuer based work, and I found that this was a great way to talk while working. This is an excellent phone.

I love it! The reason for 4 stars is because the dial pad is hard to read. It's even harder to see when it is lit up. Wierd. Anyways I'm glad I bought it. I work from home, I'm in a lot of meetings and desk top space is limited. It's really nice not having a headset cord between me and a phone, even a cordless phone. I can't tell you how many times I've caught the headset cord on something and had it ripped from my head.

The sound quality is great. So far NO one has complained about not being able to hear me, that's good. I use a google number so calls are routed through googles voip (??) then to my phone and sound quality is still great.

I am not having any problems with entering PIN numbers, meeting pass codes, etc. when I am using the headset like some other reviewers have described. You can adjust the volume from the headset but cannot mute it from the headset. You can mute it from the handset. The clip on the phone stays secure to your waist, which is rarely true for other phones.

One annoying thing, I cannot figure out how to use speed dial. I have been able to add numbers to speed dial but whenever I try to use speed dial it calls my sister. We joke now that we are in the Speed Dial Twilight Zone. Speed dialing instructions are not included in the manual. I even googled and found a magazine reviewer comment on the lack of instructions for speed dial but he figured it out. Too bad for me that he didn't share what he figured out. Oh well, as I said, I'm using google voice more and more and can dial from there.

I highly recommend this product and you should check out google voice too :)

I went thru quite a few phones, headsets with working in home office. Found this phone and headset and love it. It works with SKYPE, it works with the phone line, I can click on contacts in Goldmine, it calls and my hands are free with the headset. If I get a call on my cellphone, I can use the Plantronics bluetooth headset and answer the call... just the best!

However, I'm on my 3rd headset. The earpiece that curves over your ear and swivels if you want to use left or right ear, is fragile. It is the hinge where the friction is applied to keep it close to your head... this little piece breaks.

I am by no means a heavy user... I travel most of the time but when in my home office, I'm using this jewel.

Plantronics has replace all 3 with no questions asked and no cost. It is a pain to have to keep calling up customer service, explaining this issue (which others have complained about and they are not resolving).

The last time, I asked the guy if they were working on the issue... how long are they going to keep replacing this headset for me? Have there been quality reports issued? Are they working to resolve the issue? Tick, tock, tick, tock.... just silence. So they know they have a problem but at this point, instead of solving the quality issue, they just replace it, no questions asked.

I'm now treating this one so delicately... Not swiveling from ear to ear... just barely moving the earpiece to get into on my ear...

Very happy with this product - have used for over a year now. Used primarily for Skype through computer, but works fine when not hooked to computer through with normal phone line. Did not have problems switching back and forth from headset/handset as indicated by some reviews. Handset size is a bit strange, but got used to it, and benefits greatly outweigh this minor drawback. Very pleased with sound quality, range and mobility. Pairs with mobile phone simultaneously, so you can work with landline, mobile, and Skype all through a single BT headset. By far the best headset phone I've tried.
