Works as designed August 19, 2010 Ray in Texas (East Texas) to the point here . . . It does exactly what it says it will. Amplifies sound almost double with NO batteries or cords. Not a great sound, but makes it loud enough to hear in a room while doing something else.
Can't use it when iphone is in case August 13, 2010 Hpu2000 (North Carolina United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I returned this product because I didn't want to have to take my phone out of the case every time I used it. Just something to keep in mind. I didn't think it worked much better than traditional speakers and the sound was a little weird.
The Greatest Stand Ever. August 2, 2010 sLither (Topeka, KS USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wow. I was impressed by this product. It looks cool, It sound great, It works flawlessly, & overall, It's amazing.
The best part? It's all natural.
This product doesn't use cords, batteries, or electricity. It uses sound channels (like a plastic megaphone) to amplify the sound. It sounds great.
A must have for an iPhone or iPod touch user (iPod touch users can use this with that tiny white plastic/rubber thing that came with your iPod that you have no idea what it is")
Surprisingly Awesome! July 29, 2010 Don (Tehachapi, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am amazed at how simple and effective this device is. One of the coolest inexpensive and functional accessories I have seen for the iPhone. No, it's not high fidelity. But it delivers acceptable sound. Having it by my bed, I am reminded of listening to an AM transistor radio at night when I was a kid. Well worth the $14 price of admission.
NOT iPhone 4 compatible July 23, 2010 Mrak Taiwan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Nowhere did it say that it was NOT iPhone compatible but it is NOT. The phone not fitting to the base isn't the biggest problem as it could be effective without a good fit. The problem is that iPhone 4 has a speaker on the opposite side, the right side and placing it in the cradle with the sync cable makes it face backwards if you try to align the speaker to a hole to the acoustic chamber of the cradle. You do need it connected to the sync cable to keep it stay in the cradle due to the loose fit of the phone to the cradle. It does sound better but not like room filling sound like someone mentioned. Don't expect a Bose speaker quality sound.
