It seems to work most of the time. Sometimes I can't hear everything that the other person is saying so I have to turn off the headset. I can't walk away from the phone or it will lose signal. I'm not sure if I would buy the same headset again. The best part is that it fits great on my ear.

3 out of 5 stars Very comfortable headset, but low volume   August 25, 2010

I used this headset for a couple of weeks and I really wanted to like it. But the volume level was just too low, and I couldn't hear very well while driving (even with the windows rolled up and radio off). And there are two reasons for this.

One is that the headset controls the volume level on the phone itself and it doesn't have it's own internal volume settings. Meaning that if I turned the volume level up/down with the headset, my phone's volume display would go up & down. Whereas other headsets I've used, I can turn up the volume on the headset and then turn up the volume using the phone.

Another reason is that the ear piece itself doesn't go into the ear. It just rests outside the ear. And while this is really comfortable, it makes it harder to hear the person on the other end of the line.

Other cons:
--> no car adapter (only the home charger)
--> a bit bulky compared to other headsets (you definitely know its on your head)
--> volume/answer/power keys all on one button/rocker switch. A bit difficult to operate while on your ear.

Very inexpensive and would recommend if you're using it in a quiet environment. Otherwise, spend a little more and get something else. Right now, I'm using the Jabra EXTREME Bluetooth Headset and I'll be posting a review on that shortly.

I think the headset is very comfortable and easy to wear all day long. It is easy to operate and the use of the contols are easy. The major proble I had with this headset (and many others) is the volume doesn't go high enough. When I am driving in a car or in a slighly noisy area, I would like the headset to go one level higher in hearing volume. I have perfect hearing and I find this frustrating. I will say, I have this problem with my jawbone and many other headsets. The voyager pro seems to work a little better.

Purchased three of the Plantronics 520/V521 for three different people. To date, everyone has liked their Plantonics and all have commented on how the ear piece 'locks into place' via the ear piece that fits comfortably in the ear.
One user, me, has attached the piece to an LG Envy and have noted some static in the connection which could be the phone.

Good purchase especially for the price.
